NIN x TRON: Ares Soundtrack Now Available to Stream
Nine Inch Nails has made a landmark return with the official soundtrack for the highly anticipated film TRON: Ares. The score is now available to stream and purchase on all major platforms, offering fans over 70 minutes of new music from the industrial rock duo.
This release is particularly significant as it marks the first-ever official soundtrack released under the Nine Inch Nails name. While band members Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have released numerous film scores under their own names—including their Academy Award-winning work on The Social Network—this project officially brings the band’s iconic sound to the world of cinematic scoring.
The soundtrack features the previously released singles “As Alive As You Need Me To Be” and “Who Wants to Live Forever?”. The complete score includes 24 tracks, showcasing the band’s signature blend of dark, atmospheric soundscapes and driving electronic beats, all perfectly suited to the futuristic, high-stakes world of TRON.
Tron: Ares and NIN have also come to Disney’s Magic Kingdom with a new ride overlay on the Tron Lightcycle / Run Roller Coaster. Furthermore, we have compiled all the Tron: Ares Popcorn Buckets and Movie Tie-ins coming to movie theaters when the movie is released on October 10th, 2025.
