Cinemark’s LED 66′ Batmobile popcorn bucket is back on sale, this time online at the Cinemark Shop for $59.95. The 85-ounce bucket, shaped like the 1966 Batmobile from the Adam West Batman TV show, was pulled from Cinemark theaters in September. You can buy up to three, and it ships within the U.S. If you missed it in September, this is your second chance. It is final sale, so if you have little kids at home, keep it on a shelf.
This is the first time the Batmobile has been sold online. Back in September, it was only at theaters and never showed up on the Cinemark Shop. Cinemark has not said if anything was changed on the bucket. We have seen reports online that only the wording on the bag has changed, but cannot confirm this withour own eyes as of now.
In September, the bucket disappeared from Cinemark theaters. Theater sources and fans online said the antenna and tail fins could come loose, which could be a choking hazard for little kids. Cinemark never confirmed why, and there was no official recall notice.
