Swan Drive-In has confirmed its full Wildwood popcorn bucket lineup, and it comes down to two pieces: a molded bucket built around Septimus the rat and a bird-shaped tumbler modeled after The General. We flagged Wildwood as the least certain of Swan’s three new releases in yesterday’s roundup covering Transformers, Cars, Forgotten Island, and Avengers: Endgame Encore, since pricing had not been revealed yet. That gap is filled in now.
- Septima Molded Popcorn Bucket, $34.95 — A wooden-pail-style bucket with Septimus climbing the side, one hand gripping the rim and the other reaching down the front. Septimus is the rat who becomes Curtis Mehlberg’s loyal sidekick in the books, usually seen riding on his shoulder, and this design gives him the same scene-stealing spot on the bucket itself.
- Grippr™ Tumbler, $24.95 — A bird-shaped tumbler carved with a hooked beak, feather detailing down the cup, and a tall straw, modeled after The General, a fierce warrior and leader of the skies voiced by Honorary Academy Award® recipient Angela Bassett.
Wildwood is LAIKA’s stop-motion adaptation of the Colin Meloy and Carson Ellis book series, directed by Travis Knight and distributed domestically by Fathom Entertainment. It is a handcrafted epic fantasy following a girl’s desperate quest to save her baby brother, which turns into a high-stakes adventure through a forbidden forest full of enchanted creatures, unlikely allies, and formidable adversaries, with an entire hidden realm hanging in the balance. Wildwood opens in theaters everywhere on October 23, 2026.
