Hallmark gave us a first look at its 2027 Disney lineup during the Hallmark & Disney Magic: Our Creative Partnership panel at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, and the headline piece is a Disneyland Sleeping Beauty Castle tree topper set for a July 2027 release. It follows the same Tree Topper Magic formula as this year’s Cinderella Castle topper, with fireworks and music built in, only this time the castle, the music, and the park are Disneyland’s. Two more pieces round out July 2027 so far, a Thunder Mountain attraction replica and a Mickey Mouse ride vehicle, and together they point to a lineup that leans toward Disneyland after a 2026 slate that was mostly built around Walt Disney World.
The topper shown at D23 sjowed Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle with fireworks bursting overhead and Tinker Bell flying past the spires, the same visual Hallmark used on the Cinderella Castle tree topper released and sold out at Gold Crown stores this past July. That piece included fireworks sounds and music built into the Tree Topper Magic line, and every early sign points to Hallmark carrying that same feature set over to the Disneyland version with its own new music rather than reusing the Magic Kingdom soundtrack. Hallmark has not detailed the exact audio yet, and Fantasy Land News will update this piece once that is confirmed.
If the Cinderella Castle topper is any indication of how this performs, expect the Sleeping Beauty Castle piece to become the centerpiece release of Hallmark’s July 2027 Premiere weekend for anyone building a Disneyland-themed tree.
The sneak peek also showed a detailed Thunder Mountain, styled after the mine train attraction with its red rock peaks and train cars winding through the mountain, and a separate ornament labeled Mickey Ride Vehicle showing Mickey Mouse seated in the Alice in Wonderland ride located in Fantasyland. Hallmark did not attach further detail to either piece beyond the July 2027 release window, so specifics on scale, sound features, and full character lineup are still to come.
2026 leaned heavily toward Walt Disney World, from the Cinderella Castle topper to the entire Holiday Ever After collection tied to the Disney Springs pop-up shop Hallmark previewed at this same D23 panel. The 2027 sneak peek flips that. Leading with a piece explicitly labeled the Disneyland Tree Topper, alongside Thunder Mountain and a ride vehicle piece, reads as a deliberate turn toward the West Coast park after a year spent almost entirely on the East Coast side of Hallmark’s Disney partnership. It lines up with the broader Hallmark and Disney relationship we have tracked since the 2026 Dream Book, which has moved between parks and franchises year over year rather than staying fixed on one.
Hallmark has not announced pricing for any of the three July 2027 pieces. The Cinderella Castle topper also went unpriced at its own D23-season reveal and did not get a confirmed number until closer to its Keepsake Ornament Premiere release, so expect the same pattern here.
