D23 2026 Day 1 Live Blog: We’re on the show floor at the Anaheim Convention Center for the first day of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, running 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. PT. Any news, reveals, or merchandise drops that come out today, we’ll be updating this article throughout the day. Tonight’s Honda Center headliner is the Disney Entertainment Showcase, covering film, television, streaming, and games. Follow that live blog separately once it kicks off at 6:30 p.m.

Showroom floor is now open. Lets take a took at our first impressions of getting inside. There are reported long lines coming in.

Updated 8:00 AM – There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow at the Walt Disney Imagineering Pavilion. DIsney has stated they have gone beyond the horizons into the next phase.
We got a first look at some of the new Disney characters that will be carved into wood for the new Carousel coming to Tropical Americas
The ride vehicle coming to the new Encanto Attraction at Tropical Americas, along with the first audio-animatronic.
A massive look at the new Piston Peak, including a new attraction that is under construction in the Magic Kingdom at Walt DIsney World.
