Regal and Cinemark have both unveiled their theater exclusives for PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie, and families have some fun choices ahead of the film’s August 14 release. Regal is going with a Collectible Kids Combo built around a dinosaur-themed lunchbox popcorn bucket, while Cinemark is offering a wider lineup that includes a Marshall head bucket, a jungle-themed popcorn tin, and a plush clip snack pack.
Alamo Drafthouse, Harkins, B&B, Galaxy, and Showcase have not yet announced their own exclusives, but this article will update as those reveals come in. Regal’s combo starts at participating locations on August 7, a week ahead of the movie itself. The lunchbox bucket comes filled with popcorn and a soda, and it includes a character drink topper blind bag with three possible designs to collect. It is available while supplies last, so families who want a specific topper may need to visit more than once.
Cinemark has not confirmed an exact on-sale date yet, but its lineup gives fans more ways to spend. The Marshall Popcorn Bucket takes the shape of the dalmatian pup’s head, complete with his red fire helmet. There is also a green jungle-print popcorn bucket with a handle, a purple cup featuring Skye and Chase, a PAW Patrol throw blanket, and a Super Snack Pack that pairs a small treat with a plush character clip shaped like Marshall, Skye, Chase, Rubble, or Rex.
AMC has now listed its own lineup, and it leans into variety over a single showpiece bucket. The Marshall and Friend popcorn bucket pairs the same fire-helmet head shape with a small plush bag clip. There is also a Pawsome Blanket featuring the pups against the film’s dino-jungle art, an AMC Theatres exclusive set of character masks, an AMC Theatres exclusive Puppy Bowl popcorn container styled after Chase’s police badge, a cup with a mystery character topper, and bag clips available in all characters. AMC has not confirmed pricing or an on-sale date yet.
The Dino Movie follows the PAW Patrol pups after their ship crash-lands on an uncharted island filled with dinosaurs. There they meet Rex, a pup who has survived on the island for years and knows its secrets better than anyone. When Mayor Humdinger’s mining operation accidentally wakes a dormant volcano, the pups have to pull off their biggest rescues yet to save the island before it is too late.
This lineup has the same feel as last year’s Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie popcorn buckets, which sold out faster than most theaters expected. If your kids have their hearts set on the Marshall head bucket or Regal’s lunchbox combo, grab them opening weekend rather than waiting. Demand on this one looks like it could catch chains off guard again.
