Universal Orlando Resort just announced Universal Nights, a brand new after-hours event coming to Universal Epic Universe this fall. The limited capacity ticketed party debuts on two dates, Saturday, October 3, and Saturday, October 17, running from 9 p.m. to midnight.
Universal Nights gives guests nighttime access to Epic Universe in a way that hasn’t existed since the park opened, including attractions, entertainment, and character interactions across the park’s portals, plus complimentary specialty snacks and beverages included with admission. Guests holding a ticket can also arrive as early as 7 p.m. on event nights to enjoy the park before Universal Nights officially begins at 9, which means early arrivals get a head start on rides and a look at Universal Celestial Goodnight, the new nighttime spectacular that just debuted at Celestial Park, before the after-hours portion kicks off.
Tickets go on sale August 13, starting at $179.99 plus tax per person. Universal says more details, including what exactly will be open and any character or entertainment specifics, are coming in the weeks ahead.
Our Take: This is the one to circle on the calendar if you’ve been wanting Epic Universe with a fraction of the crowds. Limited capacity after-hours events at Universal Orlando and Islands of Adventure have historically sold out, and with only two dates announced so far for a park this in-demand, we’d expect August 13 to move fast once tickets go live. We’ll be watching for the full list of what’s included as Universal shares more in the coming weeks.
