The first trailer for “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” the documentary charting Oasis’ 2025 reunion tour, has arrived, and it comes with the band’s first joint interview in over 20 years. Disney+ shared the teaser today, exactly one year after Oasis kicked off their Live ’25 tour in Cardiff, Wales, the first time Liam and Noel Gallagher performed together in 16 years.

Don't Look Back in Anger" Oasis Documentary Trailer Released Ahead of September Theatrical Release

Don’t Look Back in Anger” is a feature documentary from Magna Studios, presented by Sony Music Vision in association with Sony Music Entertainment UK. It comes from BAFTA and Oscar-nominated writer, producer, and director Steven Knight, known for “Peaky Blinders” and “A Thousand Blows,” and is directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, the team behind “Shut Up and Play the Hits” and “Meet Me in the Bathroom.” The film will open in select IMAX and theaters in September before moving to Disney+ internationally and to Hulu and Disney+ in the United States later this year.

The documentary follows Oasis Live ’25, the reunion tour that brought Liam and Noel Gallagher back together for what the film describes as one of the biggest rock-and-roll comebacks in recent memory. It includes rehearsal, backstage, and onstage footage, along with the first joint interview the Gallagher brothers have given together in more than two decades. The film also looks at how the tour resonated with fans around the world across generations.

The producers are Sam Bridger and Guy Heeley. Executive producers include Kate Shepherd, Marisa Clifford, Davud Karbassioun, Tom Mackay, Krista Wegener, Isabel Davis, and Tim O’Shea. The technical team includes Oscar-winning sound mixers James Mather and Tarn Willers, cinematographer Haris Zambarloukos, and editors George Cragg and Martina Zamolo.

What makes this one worth paying attention to is not the tour footage; it is the access. Getting Liam and Noel in the same room for an interview, let alone a joint one, has been nearly impossible for most of the last two decades. That alone should make this a must-watch for anyone who followed the reunion tour, and for casual fans it is a chance to actually hear the brothers talk about what happened rather than just watch them perform.
