Disney teased the return of Halfway to the Holidays on Disney Parks Blog and social media this afternoon, with holiday-themed stockings that resemble Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, and the Fourth year of Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Except, after Disney released the Epcot Festival of the Holidays Stocking that featured Figment’s name was removed shortly afterwards, with no reason given.

Not only was Figment’s stocking removed from the Disney Parks Blog website, but it was also removed from all social media posts this afternoon. The stocking, which can be seen below, shows Figment’s name written in purple on a white background with the Spaceship Earth geodesic design. The body was blue, and sticking out of the stocking was a dreidel, a Festival passport, and holly branches.
Not insinuating anything, and it may return at any point, but it is weird for Disney to remove that image from their social media accounts, including Instagram, X, and the Parks Blog. Wonder what went wrong? Either way, we will be around all morning as Disney releases information on the upcoming Holiday 2026 season here at Walt Disney World.
Disney Parks says “Halfway to the Holidays
A Festive Stocking Surprise Awaits
The stockings are hung by the chimney with care,
Just tap on each one… there’s a clue hiding there!
A sprinkle of magic, a festive preview,
With secrets revealed on June 24 for you 🎄✨”
