D23 Marceline Magic is returning to Walt Disney’s boyhood hometown of Marceline, Missouri, on September 18 and 19, 2026, hosted by Disney Legend Bill Farmer as part of Disney’s ongoing celebration of Walt Disney: 125 Years of Inspiration.

Gold Member tickets are $399 plus a $3 processing fee and go on sale Wednesday, June 24, at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET, the same sale window as D23’s Black Flame Ball, another major event launching tickets that day. Both events are part of the broader D23 2026 calendar.

The event kicks off the evening of September 18 in Chillicothe, Marceline’s sister city, with a Sweets & Sips welcome reception, a complimentary welcome bag with a dining guide and coupons, and Chillicothe Trolley Tours running throughout the day. Guests must check in for the event in Chillicothe that evening, since no check-in or welcome packets will be available the next day in Marceline.

On September 19, guests travel by bus from Chillicothe to Marceline, receiving details about the day’s itinerary along the way. The day includes 25 stops throughout Marceline, each tied to a meaningful piece of Walt Disney’s childhood or legacy. Highlights include the Walt Disney Hometown Museum, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, the Walt Disney Post Office, Walt Disney Elementary School, and the Santa Fe Museum. At each stop, guests collect a piece of a souvenir gift, with all 25 pieces combining into a single commemorative item representing the full day in Marceline. The Walt Disney Post Office stop also includes a specially designated USPS postal cancellation available only on September 19.

Marceline’s Main Street, which served as direct inspiration for Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland Park, is one of the day’s centerpiece stops. Guests also receive a lunch voucher for a downtown restaurant featuring a Disney-themed special, and have the chance to participate in a Pancake Race down Marceline’s Main Street.

The day closes at the Disney Family Farm, the actual property where the Disney family lived starting in 1906 and where Walt found what he later described as the magic of his life. The evening includes a conversation with Bill Farmer, live entertainment, food and drinks, photo opportunities, and a “kiss goodnight” fireworks show.

D23 notes that hotel stays are not included in the ticket price, though special rates will be available to ticket holders, with booking details sent in the ticket confirmation email. Check the Official D23 website for tickets and info!

D23 Ends The Emporium Disappointing Small Businesses and Collectors

Our Take: There is something genuinely different about this event compared to most D23 gatherings built around movie premieres or park announcements. Walking the same Main Street that inspired Disneyland’s Main Street, U.S.A., and ending the night at the actual farm where Walt found his earliest sense of wonder, gives this one a depth that a typical fan event can’t match. The 25-stop structure with a collectible piece at each location is also a smart way to make a full day of walking feel purposeful rather than exhausting.
