D23 has announced an exclusive night at Oogie Boogie Bash — A Disney Halloween Party at Disney California Adventure Park on September 27, 2026, priced at $169 per ticket with D23 Member tickets going on sale June 16, 2026. The waiting room opens at approximately 8:45 a.m. Pacific Time on sale day.

What Is D23 Night at Oogie Boogie Bash?
D23 Night at Oogie Boogie Bash is an exclusive after-hours event night at Disney California Adventure reserved for D23 Members and their guests. It runs on Sunday, September 27, 2026, beginning at 6 p.m. PT. Early admission to the park starts at 3 p.m. with your event ticket — no theme park reservation is required.
The event includes all standard Oogie Boogie Bash offerings — treat trails, character encounters, Villains Grove, Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake street party, spirited décor, and limited-capacity park access with shorter attraction wait times — plus two D23-exclusive additions: additional photo backdrops and a DJ at the Paradise Garden Bandstand.
D23 Exclusive Pins for Oogie Boogie Bash 2026

Attendees of D23 Night at Oogie Boogie Bash will have the opportunity to purchase two limited-edition D23 Halloween pins designed exclusively for this event. Both pins feature Nightmare Before Christmas characters: one featuring Oogie Boogie and one featuring Lock, Shock, and Barrel, both set against a D23 Halloween branded design with a green swirl and wreath of worms and insects. The purchase limit is two pins total — one of each style. A purchase link will be sent to the ticket purchaser at a later date, one link per order.
What Is Included at Oogie Boogie Bash
Early admission to Disney California Adventure begins at 3 p.m. with your event ticket, giving D23 Members extra time in the park before the party officially starts at 6 p.m. The event runs with limited-capacity attendance, which means shorter wait times at select attractions after park close.
Treat trails are spread throughout the park offering M&Ms, Skittles, Snickers, and other Halloween favorites, with Disney Villains overseeing the fun from thrones along the trails. Character experiences include more villain encounters than a standard park day, with confirmed appearances from Ernesto de la Cruz, Maleficent, Hades, and more.
Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake — A Haunted Mansion Street Party is part of the evening’s entertainment lineup, and Villains Grove transforms the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail into a villain-inspired illuminated dreamscape. Every ticketed guest receives an event guide and unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital photo downloads captured during the party from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., downloadable for up to 45 days after capture.

Our Take
The D23 exclusive night at Oogie Boogie Bash is the kind of membership benefit that actually justifies the annual fee on its own for Halloween fans. Getting early access to ticket sales for one of the hardest-to-get tickets in the Disneyland Resort calendar, plus exclusive pins and dedicated photo backdrops, is a meaningful package. The $169 price point is in line with standard Oogie Boogie Bash pricing for comparable dates, so the D23 angle here is really about access and the pins rather than a discount. If September 27 works for your travel plans and you are a D23 Member, the June 16 sale date is one to put in your calendar right now. That waiting room is going to fill up fast.
