Ahead of the official opening of Explore “Off the Page!” and Spot Favorite Friends at Hollywood Studios, Walt Disney World has already started character meets for Rapunzel, Mulan, and Stitch — and the details are worth knowing before you go.

Mulan and Rapunzel are both available near the new Monstropolis entrance, rotating every 30 minutes starting at 10 AM, so which princess you encounter depends on when you walk up. Stitch has his own spot in front of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, ready to cause the usual amount of adorable chaos.
Once Explore “Off the Page!” opens, the experience expands significantly. The new area celebrates the artistry of Walt Disney Animation Studios, with each room themed around a different stage of the animation process. You can meet Mulan in the Story department, posed in front of an oversized storyboard panel, or find Rapunzel in the Layout department in a setting inspired by the classic multiplane camera, complete with layered backgrounds and painted cells. Additional characters filling out the roster include Chip n’ Dale in Hand-Drawn Animation, Donald and Daisy in CG Animation, Goofy in Lighting, and Stitch in Effects.
Every space is designed with photo opportunities in mind, and the animation framing gives each meet a distinct look that stands apart from a standard character greeting.
Our Take: The rotating schedule for Mulan and Rapunzel is a smart setup but worth planning around if you have a preference. The 30-minute windows move fast, so checking the schedule when you arrive and positioning yourself early is the play. Off the Page! concept itself is genuinely exciting — character meets with actual theming and context feel like a meaningful upgrade over a standard greeting line, and the animation celebration angle is exactly the kind of thing Disney does well when it leans into its own history.
