Walt Disney World Annual Passholders are getting early access to two newly reimagined attractions before they open to the general public, with preview dates announced for both Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets and Soarin’ Across America as part of V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets officially opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 26, but Passholders can ride first on May 21, 22, and 23. The preview uses a virtual queue system through the My Disney Experience app, with three distribution windows each day. The 7:00 AM drop requires a Hollywood Studios park reservation for that day. The 11:00 AM drop is open to Passholders with a reservation at any Walt Disney World theme park, though guests must enter their reserved park before heading to Hollywood Studios. The 3:00 PM drop requires only valid Passholder admission with no park reservation needed. Disney has confirmed the virtual queue will not carry over to the May 26 opening day.
There is a bonus perk attached to the preview. Passholders who ride during the May 21 through 23 window will receive a complimentary download of their attraction photo through Disney PhotoPass Service.
Soarin’ Across America, the updated version of the fan-favorite simulated flight experience, also opens at EPCOT on May 26. Passholder previews for that attraction are set for May 19 and 20 and use a standard standby queue during normal park operating hours, subject to capacity.

Both previews are subject to applicable pass blockout dates, and boarding groups for the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster virtual queue are limited and not guaranteed. Disney notes that not all boarding groups may be called depending on attraction availability.
If your Annual Pass is active, these are two of the better Passholder perks Disney has put together in a while. The free PhotoPass download alone is a nice touch for what is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated reopening days Hollywood Studios has had in years.
