Walt Disney World Annual Passholders have a new reason to head to EPCOT this summer. As part of V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days, Disney is offering an exclusive character greeting experience at the Magic Eye Theatre in World Celebration, running May 1 through July 31, 2026.

Disney is billing the experience as a chance to visit with “some of Mickey Mouse’s best pals” for a hug, a photo and an autograph. The classic Mickey’s Pals lineup includes Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Pluto, Goofy, and Chip and Dale, but the actual roster for this event is unconfirmed. With Goofy holding court at CommuniCore Hall as part of Cool Kids’ Summer, Donald stationed at the Mexico Pavilion, and Daisy greeting guests at International Gateway, the characters available for this Passholder greeting may end up being a subset of that group. Disney has not announced the exact lineup, so expect some flexibility once the event goes live.

Last summer, EPCOT’s Passholder character experience featured Dopey meeting guests in the Germany Pavilion, so Disney does have a history of mixing in some surprises for this type of event. Whether that pattern continues in 2026 remains to be seen.
Greetings are available daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on a first-come, first-served basis, so arriving early in the day is a smart move if you want to guarantee a spot. The Magic Eye Theatre, home to the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, is a covered venue inside World Celebration, which is a welcome detail for anyone planning a midday EPCOT visit during Florida’s summer heat.
To participate, Passholders need valid admission and a theme park reservation for EPCOT on the same date, though entry is also available without a reservation on a good-to-go day or after 2:00 PM. Each Passholder must present their valid Annual Pass card or a linked MagicBand, MagicBand+, or Disney MagicMobile pass along with a valid photo ID. Applicable blockout dates apply.
This is a solid perk for Passholders already planning EPCOT days this summer. A dedicated Passholder greeting space with a defined daily window gives families a more relaxed way to make a memory without competing with general park crowds. We will update this story as Disney confirms the character lineup.
