The AT-AT Collectible Popcorn Container for The Mandalorian and Grogu is one of the most technically impressive theater collectibles revealed for the May 22 Star Wars film, and it is coming to AMC, Cinemark, Regal, and Marcus Theatres starting May 21. Here is everything you need to know before you head to the concession stand. It’s not just a popcorn bucket; it is a shelf piece for collectors!

We have been tracking the full Mandalorian and Grogu collectible lineup since the first chain reveals came in — for the complete chain-by-chain breakdown of every bucket, cup, and collectible combo, read our full guide: Every Mandalorian and Grogu Popcorn Bucket Revealed for the May 22 Star Wars Movie.
What the AT-AT Container Actually Is

This is an 85-ounce sculptural popcorn container designed to look like the iconic Imperial walker from Star Wars. The level of detail here is worth calling out. The AT-AT has foldable legs so you can flatten it for storage or display it fully standing on a shelf. Press a button, and you get both sound effects and light-up turrets that recreate the AT-AT’s firing action. AA batteries come included in the box, so it works the moment you walk out of the theater.
Look closely at the promotional images, and you can spot The Mandalorian scaling the side of the walker toward the hatch, a nod to the iconic scene from The Empire Strikes Back that any Star Wars fan will recognize. It is the kind of detail that makes the difference between a novelty and a real collectible.
How It Compares to the Disney Parks Version

Disney Parks has sold an AT-AT walker popcorn bucket before, available in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. The park’s version was approximately 12 inches tall and 13 inches wide with an adjustable crossbody strap so you could carry it hands-free through the park. It was a solid piece, but it was static with no lights, no sound, and the strap was really the main selling point for a day spent walking around.
The theater version swaps the strap for electronics, and that trade is the right call for a collectible meant to live on a shelf. The light-up turrets and sound effects give it an interactive quality the park’s version never had. If you already own the parks AT-AT, this is very different and worth having both. If you missed the parks version, this one is the better collectible by most measures.
Price: What We Know
No official U.S. price has been confirmed yet, but based on comparable large-format interactive theater buckets from recent releases, we estimate the AT-AT will land around $55.00. That estimate got some international validation fast. HOYTS in Australia listed the AT-AT at AUD $74.54 and sold out, which at current exchange rates puts it right in line with our $55 range. When a market sells out before U.S. chains have even announced a date, that tells you something about demand. Our initial read on the price was correct.
For reference, our full bucket guide estimated the AT-AT at $54.99, the Grogu Pram at $40, the Mando Helmet at $34.99, the Grogu Container at $34.99, and the Clan of Two Bust at $74.99. These are estimates, but they are grounded in what comparable pieces have sold for across the past two years of major releases.
Where to Get It in the United States

The AT-AT is the one container appearing across the most chains of any piece in this lineup. AMC Theatres, Cinemark, Regal, and Marcus Theatres are all confirmed to carry it. AMC has it as part of their “rarer than Beskar” collection available starting May 21. Cinemark carries it as part of their North America exclusive collectible range, also starting May 21, with a free same-day refill. Regal includes a large popcorn with purchase. Marcus has it confirmed for opening weekend at participating locations while supplies last. All sales at all chains are final with a one-per-customer limit online where applicable.
The Rest of the Lineup

The AT-AT is the breakout piece, but it is not alone. The full Mandalorian and Grogu theater collectible lineup also includes the Grogu Hover Pram popcorn vessel at AMC, the Mandalorian Helmet Cup at AMC, Cinemark, and Marcus, the Cinemark-exclusive Grogu Popcorn Container which is a full sculptural Grogu figure, the Clan of Two Bust at Regal which plays music and projects the Mandalorian logo, a Grogu Tumbler and Souvenir Cup at Cinemark, a Regal Collectible Combo with a randomly assigned character drink topper, a Grogu Plush with Beskar Armor at Cinemark, and a Grogu Popcorn Bucket unique to Marcus with Grogu peering over the rim.
The Cinemark Super Ticket for $30 covers a May 21 preview screening at 6 PM with a Grogu pin, a collectible cup, and a medium popcorn included. That is the earliest you can get any of this merchandise in hand.
The Mandalorian and Grogu opens May 22, 2026, with Thursday preview screenings beginning May 21. For our complete guide to every theater collectible for this film, visit Fantasy Land News.
