A free LEGO SMART Play Star Wars demo event is coming to the Kissimmee Walmart Supercenter parking lot on April 18 and 19, giving families a hands-on look at one of the biggest innovations in LEGO history. Located just outside the Disney World Animal Kingdom Resort area, if you are visiting, this is only 2 minutes from the entrance to Walt Disney World.

When and Where
The event runs Saturday and Sunday, April 18 and 19, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day at the Walmart Supercenter located at 2855 N Old Lake Wilson Road in Kissimmee, Florida. The demo takes place in the parking lot, so no purchase is required to participate.
What Is LEGO SMART Play?
LEGO SMART Play is the LEGO Group’s biggest product innovation since the creation of the Minifigure. The system delivers open-ended, screen-free physical play through responsive technology that reacts in real time. Kids build, interact, and watch their creations play back without a screen in sight.

At the center of the system is the LEGO SMART Brick, which is powered by a custom chip smaller than a standard LEGO stud. That chip features more than 20 patented world firsts. The bricks work alongside LEGO SMART Tags and LEGO SMART Minifigures to create responsive play experiences, and everything remains compatible with the existing LEGO System in Play.
The Kissimmee event focuses specifically on the LEGO SMART Play Star Wars sets, which makes this a particularly good stop for families with Star Wars fans in the house.
If this weekend does not work for your schedule, LEGO stores nationwide are also running SMART Play demos. Brick Specialists are on hand at LEGO retail locations to walk you through the sets in person. You can learn more and find a store at lego.com/en-us/smart-play.
