Disney and Pixar’s latest animated feature, Hoppers, officially arrives in theaters this Friday, March 6, 2025. To celebrate the film’s release, Disney Parks are launching a series of interactive activities, limited-time art galleries, and community initiatives across both Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. These new offerings allow fans to engage with the movie’s characters like Mabel and Tom Lizard through hands-on sketches, nature trails, and special photo opportunities. This news follows the recent opening of the Hoppers Garden at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, which highlights the film’s connection to the natural world.

Interactive Adventures at Disneyland Resort. Guests visiting Disney California Adventure can participate in Mabel’s Seek and Find at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. This activity provides a physical map with challenges that lead to a commemorative sticker featuring characters from the film. The trail also remains home to popular attractions like the Hoot n’ Holler log slides and the Spirit Cave.
For those interested in the creative process behind the movie, the Animation Academy in Hollywood Land is hosting step-by-step drawing classes. Local artists teach guests how to sketch Mabel or King George. These sessions run every 30 minutes and do not require a reservation.
Additionally, the Pixar Place Hotel has opened a special gallery on its second floor. The exhibit displays original concept art and character models that show how the world of the film was built.
Conservation and Activities at Walt Disney World. In Florida, the celebration focuses on wildlife and community action. Disney is collaborating with Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots USA to launch a youth challenge. This program aims to inspire 100,000 young people to complete nature-based projects in their own neighborhoods. Winners of this challenge will be invited to a special event at Walt Disney World in the fall of 2026.
At EPCOT, the International Flower & Garden Festival includes character displays from the movie. These are located in the wildlife crossing area near The Land Pavilion. Families looking for educational content can also download a new digital activity packet that provides facts about real-world animals like beavers, which play a major role in the movie’s story.
Movie Magic at Disney Springs. For fans wanting to see the film on opening day, the AMC Disney Springs 24 Dine-In Theatre will host screenings starting March 6. The theater features themed backdrops where guests can take photos before or after the show.
