The song was a collaborative effort, with SZA writing the lyrics and working on the music alongside Ben Lovett and Rob Bisel. Fans who want a physical piece of the movie can already pre-order a special die-cut vinyl shaped like the film’s lead character, Mabel, exclusively through the Disney Music Emporium.
A Soundtrack Full of Heart
While the single is out now, the rest of the Hoppers soundtrack is scheduled for release on March 6, coinciding with the film’s debut in theaters. The album features an original score by legendary composer Mark Mothersbaugh.
Director Daniel Chong shared that SZA’s music was a source of comfort during the production process. He noted that the song perfectly captures the spirit of Mabel, the story’s main character. Mothersbaugh also expressed his connection to the project, mentioning that the film’s positive message resonated with him immediately.

To celebrate the release, several theater chains are rolling out exclusive Hopper popcorn buckets and collectibles. Fans heading to the cinema can look for these limited-edition items:

What to Expect From the Film
Hoppers tells the story of Mabel, an animal lover who uses advanced technology to transfer her consciousness into a realistic robotic beaver. This allows her to talk to animals and learn about their world.
She eventually teams up with a beaver named King George to protect their habitat from a developer. The movie features a massive voice cast, including:
