While Walt Disney Animation’s Zootopia 2 surpassed $1.7 Billion to become the highest-grossing MPA animated movie of all time, beating out another Disney IP, Inside Out 2 from Pixar. This makes Disney the box office king for 8 weeks in a row.
Avatar: Fire & Ash beat out the newcomer 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple with 14.5 million domestically in 3300 screens. The movie has accumulated $364,710,340 domestically.
Meanwhile, Zootopia brought in another $9.2 million in 3100 screens. Total domestic stands at $390,442,207. It has officially become the 9th highest-grossing movie ever, and the highest-grossing MPA animated movie ever in only 7 weeks. Zootopia was released on November 26th, 2025.
