Hallmark Channel’s Winter Escape Is Going Down Under In ‘A Melbourne Match’. If you are like us, your weekend nights are being taken over by Hallmark Channel. Every Saturday in January, a new movie premieres as part of “Winter Escape 2026,” and then on Sundays, new episodes of “When Calls the Heart.” After the 2026 movie season kicked off last week with ‘Lost In Paradise’, Hallmark Channel will premiere ‘A Melbourne Match’ starring Mallory Jansen and Ryan Corr tonight at 8/7c, with the episode also airing the next day on Hallmark+.
‘A Melbourne Match’ is the story of Georgie, a travel writer, who travels to Melbourne for an assignment where she meets Zach, an ex-Australian footballer who agrees to be her tour guide and shows her that there’s more to life than work. Mallory Jansen is no stranger to Hallmark Channel, having starred in the much-loved ‘On the 12th Date of Christmas’ opposite Tyler Hynes and ‘Paging Mr. Darcy’ with Will Kemp. Ryan Corr is new to Hallmark Channel. He is primarily known for his work abroad, such as ‘House of the Dragon’ and ‘My Life is Murder’. Winter Escape rolls on through the month of January with a new movie every Saturday night at 8/7c and streaming the next day on Hallmark +.
