Encanto Original Cast Voices Returning for Attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The Madrigal Family is Back: Official Cast Confirmation and New Dialogue coming to Tropical Americas at Walt Disney World. The Familia Madrigal is coming to life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and they’re bringing their incredible talent with them! The news that the Encanto Original Cast Voices are returning for the Attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom has sent waves of excitement through the Disney fan community.

The biggest confirmation came directly from a man who knows the Madrigals better than anyone: Jared Bush, co-director and writer of the film, and now, the Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios. Bush recently took to social media to share a fantastic update, revealing, “Almost done recording our entire original cast. Being back in the booth with everyone is the absolute best!”

This means we can definitely look forward to hearing Stephanie Beatriz as the passionate and empathetic Mirabel, John Leguizamo as the misunderstood Bruno, María Cecilia Botero as the matriarch Abuela Alma, and the rest of the magical, fantastical family—including Luisa, Isabela, Pepa, and Julieta.

The dialogue isn’t just background noise; it’s integral to the storytelling. The key takeaway from Bush’s update is that the cast is recording new dialogue, specially written for the ride. This isn’t a cost-saving measure of recycling old lines. By having Jared Bush writing Encanto attraction dialogue, the Imagineers can craft a brand-new, non-linear adventure that feels immediate and tailored to the ride’s mechanics.

The creative team isn’t just stopping at the voices; they are ensuring the narrative is fresh and compelling. Bush previously revealed that his “plane homework” involved writing new dialogue for… the Encanto attraction, emphasizing that Imagineers were “cooking up” something truly unique. This isn’t a retelling of the film’s plot but a new chapter.

The new attraction, which is rumored to be named La Casita Encantada, is confirmed to be an immersive dark ride experience that invites guests deep into the heart of the Madrigal home. The entire experience begins on the day after Antonio’s gift, allowing guests to explore the Casita as it is still vibrating with the new, exuberant magic he has brought forth.

Tropical Americas: The New Home for Encanto at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

The new Encanto attraction is not a standalone addition; it is the anchor of a massive retheme that will fundamentally change the entry experience to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The new land, dubbed Tropical Americas, is set to replace the existing DinoLand U.S.A., marking one of the most significant expansions in the park’s history.

This new land is a bold thematic choice, leveraging the lush environments and vibrant cultures of Central and South America. This context is vital, as it allows Encanto—which is inspired by the culture and biodiversity of Colombia—to be perfectly housed alongside a newly re-imagined adventure.

Encanto will not be the only E-Ticket attraction in the Tropical Americas land. The expansion will also feature a new Co-Anchor Attraction: The New Indiana Jones Adventure, which is expected to replace the existing DINOSAUR ride
