Stranger Things Finale: Tickets for Feature-Length ‘Right Side Up’ Screenings On Sale Now. The official Stranger Things account has just announced that tickets will go on sale tomorrow, December 2nd, 2025, for the theatrical screening of Netflix’s Stranger Things Episode 8 ‘The Right Side Up’, which will run 1 Hour and 50 minutes, the same length as a feature film.

Updated 12/02/2025 – This is an update to yesterday’s article about tickets being released today at movie theaters across the US. AMC, Cinemark, Regal, and some of the more regional theatres now have tickets on sale. Stranger Things and Netflix have created a website for the Stranger Things 5 Finale, where you can purchase tickets for the theaters closest to your location.

Cinemark actually started selling tickets early, and in our location, Central Florida, the first showings were already sold out before 7:00 am EST.

So far, all we know is that it will be playing at Regal Cinemas across the country. It is being shown in a limited number of theaters.

Limited theatrical screenings of the final episode will take place in more than 350 theaters in the US and Canada beginning Dec. 31 at 5 p.m. PT,  timed to the finale’s global premiere on Netflix at the same time, and runs through Jan. 1, 2026.
