Simultaneously, the critically acclaimed anthology series ‘Star Wars: Visions‘ returns with its exciting Volume 3. All episodes of this new season are now streaming, featuring nine original anime stories. These tales come from legendary Japanese animation studios, each offering its unique and distinct style to celebrate and explore the rich mythos of the Star Wars galaxy. Fans can now dive into both the magical mysteries of Twisted-Wonderland and the thrilling new perspectives on a galaxy far, far away.
Disney Twisted Wonderland The Animation:
“Disney Twisted Wonderland” is a school adventure game featuring characters inspired by the charm of Disney villains. Yana Toboso, the manga artist best known for “Black Butler,” was responsible for the original concept, main scenario, and character design. The unique essence of Disney villains and the elaborate worldview set in a magic school continue to attract a growing fan base. The
animated project, “Disney Twisted Wonderland: The Animation,” will begin streaming exclusively on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. Based on the comic, Season 1, “Episode of Heartslabyul,” will be released, and Season 2, “Episode of Savanaclaw,” and Season 3, “Episode of Octavinelle,” will also be produced.
The animation will be produced by Yumeta Company x Graphinica, the studio behind the global hit “Record of Ragnarok II.” The general director is Natori Takahiro, the director is Katagai Makoto, and the script is written by Kato Yoichi, who is renowned for his skills in a wide range of hits, from “Space Brothers” to “The Idolmaster Million Live!”.
Furthermore, the music for the film will be handled by Ozawa Takumi, who has previously worked on the music for games, and will also write new songs. In addition, the opening theme will be the game’s theme song, “Piece of my world” (Night Ravens). The staff has come together to faithfully recreate the worldview and originality of the game, while also maximizing the charm of the characters in the animation.
Star Wars Visions Season 3:
The award-winning series first premiered in 2021, with nine shorts by seven different Japanese anime studios celebrating the mythology of Star Wars through unique cultural perspectives. Star Wars: Visions Volume 3, the animated anthology returns to where it all began with nine shorts from nine different anime studios, including returning contributors Kamikaze Douga, Kinema citrus Co., Production I.G, and TRIGGER. The next installment will also introduce five new anime studios to the world of Star Wars — ANIMA (in co-production with Kamikaze Douga), david production, Polygon Pictures, Project Studio Q, and WIT Studio — to further demonstrate the diversity and creativity of Japanese animation.
