Doctor Who: Disney+ Ends Relationship and No Christmas Episode 2025. The BBC has just released an announcement saying that there will be no Christmas or Holiday episodes in 2025, and it will return in 2026. Furthermore, the BBC announced that Disney+ will not be partnering with them next season.

Doctor Who joined Disney+ in 2023 with the 60th Anniversary Specials, which included 2 seasons and two Christmas specials.

We can assure fans, the Doctor is not going anywhere, and we will be announcing plans for the next series in due course which will ensure the TARDIS remains at the heart of the BBC.”
The Doctor Who Christmas special will be produced by Bad Wolf with BBC Studios for the BBC.
