Disney Parks confirmed that Bing Bong, the Imaginary Friend from Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out, will make his Walt Disney World debut this holiday season. He is scheduled to meet guests during Jollywood Nights 2025, the after-hours holiday event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
This marks the character’s first appearance at any Disney Park, generating excitement among fans. Bing Bong is confirmed to be available for meet-and-greets in the Grand Avenue area of Hollywood Studios during the event, which runs on select nights from November 8 through December 22, 2025.
This is just one of four new character meet and greets during Disney’s Jollywood Nights 2025 at Hollywood Studios. Bing Bong, Partysaurus Rex, Miguel, and Chewbacca have all been announced to join the over 20 other Disney characters.
Who is Bing Bong?
Bing Bong is Riley’s imaginary friend from her early childhood. He is a part-cat, part-elephant, part-dolphin creature with a body made of cotton candy, and he cries candy. He appears in the film as a forgotten memory, encountering Joy and Sadness in the depths of Riley’s mind. His goal is to help Joy return to Headquarters, believing he can restore his friendship with Riley.
Bing Bong is an emotional symbol in the film. He represents the innocence and uninhibited creativity of early childhood.
