The investor group, which also includes consumer executive Glenn Murphy and technology executive Dave Habiger, has acquired a collective economic interest of approximately 9% in the company. The news was disclosed by JANA Managing Partner Scott Ostfeld at the 13D Monitor Active-Passive Investor Summit.

JANA Partners plans to engage with Six Flags’ Board of Directors and management to push for changes aimed at enhancing shareholder value and improving the guest experience.
