Fraggles Return in New Apple TV+ Holiday Special “The First Snow of Fraggle Rock” Gobo, Red, Wembley, Mokey, and Boober Fraggle are back for the holiday season! Apple TV+ announced its new special, “The First Snow of Fraggle Rock,” will premiere globally on Friday, December 5. The show features a cameo by musical artist Lele Pons, who performs a duet of the classic “Fraggle Rock” song “Our Melody” with Gobo, plus two other holiday numbers.
The Fraggles wait for the first snow and the traditions it brings. When only one snowflake arrives and Gobo can’t write the yearly holiday song, their plans are disrupted. For the first time, Gobo travels to the human world—which the Fraggles call Outer Space—to find musical ideas. Back at the Gorgs’ castle, Junior Gorg is overwhelmed by a new baby Gorg joining the family. This holiday season, the Fraggles and Gorgs learn that special moments don’t have to be perfect—they can be unique and memorable.
The special comes from the team behind the Emmy Award-winning series “Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock.” Executive producers include Lisa Henson, Halle Stanford, John Tartaglia, Matt Fusfeld, Alex Cuthbertson, Arnon Milchan, and Yariv Milchan. Dave Goelz and Karen Prell co-executive produce. Harvey Mason Jr. is the executive music producer. Fusfeld and Cuthbertson wrote the special, Chris Plourde produced it, and Jon Rosenbaum directed.
Musical Guest Star: Lele Pons
Musical artist and internet sensation Lele Pons will make a cameo appearance. Pons will join Gobo for a harmonious duet of the classic and beloved “Fraggle Rock” song “Our Melody,” along with performing two other holiday numbers.
