Low Crowds at Walt Disney World? We Visited Post-Labor Day and Here’s What We Saw! Wondering what the crowds look like at Walt Disney World the week after Labor Day? The summer is unofficially over, and guests have gone home to send their kids to school or head back to work. However, for guests who waited to enjoy Disney World until after the summer rush, today was a treat, as crowds and ride times were significantly lower.

We arrived at Disney’s Hollywood Studios around 9:30 a.m., and it felt noticeably empty. The peaceful atmosphere continued until we left at 11:00 a.m. This wasn’t just a feeling; the numbers proved it. Wait times for even the most popular rides were much lower than usual.

Here’s what we saw:

  • Rise of the Resistance: This ride often has a wait time of 80 minutes or more. During our visit, the wait time was just 55 minutes, and it even dropped to 30 minutes by the time we left.
  • Slinky Dog Dash: On an average day, you can expect to wait 75+ minutes for this fan-favorite roller coaster. We saw wait times between 35-45 minutes—a real treat for anyone who loves Toy Story Land.

As you can see in the images below, the wait times were really low. We took screenshots of the times at both Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom at 11:35, and can see across all the parks, low wait times are making guests’ day a better experience!

Joy from Pixar’s Inside Out had no line; Elastigirl was just wandering the Pixar area. Meanwhile, Mandalorian wasn’t being trampled by guests in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge! At the “Get Animated” courtyard, we saw Pluto, Chip & Dale, Daisy Duck & Donald Duck, Max with Goofy, all with no or little wait times to meet them. Inside “Get Animated,” we were truly the only people dancing with Mickey & Friends for a few minutes.
