‘Get Animated’ Dance Party Extended through September 24 at Hollywood Studios. Summer might be winding down, and kids are heading back to school, but the party at Walt Disney World is far from over. Originally set to close on September 2nd, 2025, the popular “Get Animated” party at Animation Courtyard has been extended! Guests now have until September 24th, 2025, to enjoy the festivities before the area closes for its announced re-theme on September 25th.

Get Animated at Animation Courtyard, Disney’s Hollywood Studios Animation Courtyard: Join the fun at an indoor dance party with Mickey Mouse and some Disney friends from September 2 to September 24, 2025. Entertainment is subject to change without notice or liability.

Get Animated – Get ready for lots of fun at Animation Courtyard! Kids can play games and make crafts all day. You might see magicians, jump rope tricks, and even surprise visits from your favorite characters! The fun doesn’t stop there! Come dance with Mickey Mouse and friends from Disney Junior at a super fun indoor party with a DJ.

The new dance party inside the Disney Junior Dance and Play building is called “Get Animated“. A DJ will be spinning tunes throughout the day with Roadster Racers Mickey, Pluto, Doc McStuffins, Vampirina, Fancy Nancy, Timon, and we spotted Max Goof join the dance party while we were visiting today.

From the Walt Disney World Website: Disney Jr. Play and Dance! The show will close permanently on September 25 to make way for The Walt Disney Studios. Enjoy the ‘Get Animated’ dance party at this location through September 24. Read all the changes coming to Animation Courtyard.

Animation Courtyard Entertainment has clowns, magicians, jump rope artists, singers, and more. Performers switch out constantly, and there is always a Disney Character getting involved in the act. While we were visiting, Goofy joined the Jumping Beans double-dutch jump rope artists, plus he was part of the Cool Cones Magicians act. Donald Duck joined in with the clowns.
