Destination D23: All the Biggest News and Reveals from the Ultimate Disney Fan Event. Thousands of Disney fans descended on Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort this past weekend for Destination D23: A Journey Around the Worlds of Disney, a multi-day event packed with exclusive announcements, presentations, and behind-the-scenes looks at the future of Disney entertainment and experiences.
To see the voices behind Disney animated classic films and, at the same time, the people behind the magic of the Parks, is a fan’s dream event. While not as large as D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Destination D23 is more focused on being a fan of the Walt Disney World resort and fills the gap between Expos. The event, bigger than ever before, featured more than 25 presentations from across The Walt Disney Company, including Walt Disney Studios, Walt Disney Imagineering, and the Walt Disney Archives. Here are some of the biggest reveals.
We were front row for all the action and announcements, live-blogging the whole event. The response was very positive, and we will continue to do this in the future. So we need a chance to wrap up the weekend and put all the big announcements in one spot.
