Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival 2025 to Feature New Wilderness Themed Playground? Disney is hard at work getting ready for the 2025 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, and we can now see a new playground area taking shape in what Epcot is calling “Harvest’s Hollow.” The area is located in the old Rose Walkway, which is between Imagination! Pavilion and World Showcase.
The new playground appears to be themed to the “Wilderness” theme Disney has at Wilderness Lodge and Ft Wilderness here at Walt Disney World Resorts. There are tables made out of cut-down trees, surrounded by acorn chairs. There are logs to sit on, and what appears to be tree stumps and a giant log for kids to climb on. The area is not finished, and Disney has not officially released information on the new area.
Harvest Hollow incorporates the whole area and is autumn-themed. There are three Global Marketplaces in Harvest Hollow, and they are Forest & Field, Milled & Mulled, and finally, Bramblewood Bites.
During the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival, Disney introduced the Playalong Bay Play Garden, presented by Smucker’s Uncrustables. This nautically themed playground, located between the Imagination! pavilion and the World Showcase entrance, which was inspired by one of Disney’s famous resort pools, Stormalong Bay. It combines high-seas adventure with family-friendly fun.
