Vampirina is back! Catch the new series “Vampirina: Teenage Vampire” on Disney Channel starting September 12. Disney Branded Television has released the official teaser trailer and poster for its new series, “Vampirina: Teenage Vampire.” The first two episodes of the music-driven show will premiere on the Disney Channel on Friday, September 12, at 8 p.m. EDT/PDT, with new episodes airing weekly. All 16 episodes will be available to stream on Disney+ starting October 15.

The show follows Vampirina (or “Vee”), a tween vampire who leaves Transylvania for a performing arts boarding school. For the first time, she must navigate life among humans while pursuing her passion for music and keeping her identity a secret. This task is made even more challenging when her overprotective father sends an overzealous ghost to live with her. Based on the popular book series and a beloved Disney Jr. show, this new series marks the character’s first live-action portrayal.

Upcoming episodes will feature a variety of guest stars, including Emmy® Award winner Mykal-Michelle Harris, Jenna Davis (“M3GAN”), viral sensation Ariel Martin (Baby Ariel), and Janice LeAnn Brown in a crossover episode from “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.”

The series is executive produced by Dan Cross and David Hoge, the team behind “Julie and the Phantoms,” along with Tim Federle (“High School Musical: The Musical: The Series”), Bronwyn North-Reist, and Meg Deloatch.
