Well Dam That’s a “Nice Beaver!” The Naked Gun Popcorn Bucket is Coming to Regal Cinemas. The single most important Naked Gun movie since the other Naked Gun movies, coming only in theatres August 1. Since tickets went on sale today, Regal Cinemas announced a new popcorn bucket tie-in for The Naked Gun: the Nice Beaver popcorn bucket.
Only one man has the particular set of skills… to lead Police Squad and save the world! Lt. Frank Drebin Jr. (Liam Neeson) follows in his father’s footsteps in THE NAKED GUN, directed by Akiva Schaffer (Saturday Night Live, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping) and from producer Seth MacFarlane (Ted, Family Guy). Joining the cast are Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, Eddie Yu, with Danny Huston.
The Nice Beaver popcorn bucket is a stuffed beaver, which is holding onto a gnawed piece of wood with the words “Nice Beaver” carved into it. Giggle. The back of the beaver opens up to hold popcorn. Giggle. Nice Beaver will be available at Regal Theaters when the movie comes out on August 1st, 2025. There is no price released yet, but we expect it to be around $24.99 to $34.99. We should see a regular popcorn bucket released alongside the Nice Beaver.
The “Nice Beaver!” popcorn bucket is a call back to deadpan actor Leslie Nielsen, who played Lt. Frank Drebin in the original Naked Gun movie, who is handed a stuffed beaver by actress Priscilla Presley as Jane Spencer, when she is climbing up on a ladder, and he is looking upwards as her skirt swings,. “Nice Beaver!” She responds by handing down a beaver, ‘Thanks, I just had it stuffed.”
Dam! I love my job some days, I am writing about a joke from 1988! That joke makes a comeback in 2025! Now all we need is a cameo by the single greatest opera singer-umpire in the history of the world, Enrico Palazzo. Unfortunately, Enrico passed away in 2010!
