Test Track’s New General Motors Showroom and Gear Shop. The newly renamed Test Track exit store, Gear Shop, is still under construction and is covered by black curtains. Furthermore, the new General Motors Showroom is still getting the final touches added, but we had the opportunity to walk through and see the new massive space showing off the future of General Motors cars.
Test Track is reopening on July 22nd, 2025. We got to experience the rethemed attraction ourselves on July 27th, and you can see the new ride and images.
Exiting off Test Track is a new experience. While some things like the Disney Photopass touch point scanner and screens remain the same, the vehicle games are now removed, along with the vehicle scores from when you could design your vehicle. There are some nice touches added. Like the new future of transportation Mural was added to the wall after the Photopass. There is new signage for the General Motors Showroom, new rooms, and many more updates.
Take a walk through the new Test Track Exit with us.
Disney Photopass Test Track: Buckle up — Test Track presented by General Motors reopens on July 22, and #DisneyPhotoPass is hitting the road with an all-new attraction photo!
The screens and touch points for MagicBand are located just down the exit ramp and to the right.

Mural: Flying vehicles and electric cars hint at a future reminiscent of EPCOT’s early visions. A new mural has been installed on the wall exiting Test Track, depicting the same scene now featured within the ride itself. This new scene appears just before vehicles transition to the outdoor section of the attraction.
Empty White Room: This circular room was empty when we walked through. This could be a car showroom in the future, or could be for images to be projected on the floor.
New General Motors Showroom: The new General Motors Test Track Showroom is massive. A large General Motors sign welcomes you to the new showroom. The Test Track blue can be seen on the walls and with the lights. Five cars are fitted into the newly constructed spaces, and the new open walkway makes it easier to get in and out, or spend a few moments looking at the vehicles.
Cars on Display:
- Buick Envista ST
- GMC Terrain AT4
- Chevrolet Tahoe Z71
- Chevrolet Traverse RS
- Chevrolet Corvette ZR1
The opposite side of the vehicles is a new GM Energy station that shows how charging or recharging an Electric vehicle works. There is also a desk with a General Motors sign that the showroom dealers will work at.
