Take some photos with the larger-than-life Kermit the Frog statues being Studio One Store. Get as many photos as you can, because today is the final day for the Muppets Courtyard. The Muppets Courtyard will be sorely missed, a corner of the park where guests could truly feel immersed in the zany world of Kermit, Miss Piggy, and friends.
We do know the Muppets will return in the future when they are set to take over the Rock ‘n Roller Coaster. Muppets Mayhem will be on the opposite side of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but we do not know if we will ever see Muppets*Vision 3D again. Rumors were swirling that Disney would put Muppet*Vision 3D and take over Sunset Showcase Theater, next to Rock ‘n Roller Coaster, with a revised version, but there is no official word. Last we heard was Disney is doing everything they can to preserve the show.
Disney Parks recently announced that June 7, 2025, is the last day to visit the Muppets at Disney’s Hollywood Studios until the new attraction is ready. Why this is big news for Disney and The Muppets fans: Muppet*Vision 3D featuring Muppet characters, was one of the final projects Jim Henson worked on before his passing in 1990. This attraction, housed within the Muppet Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, combines 3D technology with real-world practical effects, alongside animatronic and live Muppet characters.
