
Get Animated Kicks Off Cool Kids Summer at Hollywood Studios: Mickey, Disney Junior & Clarabelle Cow Join the Fun! May 27th, 2025, is the official opening of Cool Kids Summer at Walt Disney World. Hollywood Studios is getting in on the action, bringing twelve different Disney Characters for kids to meet and greet. Plus, 3 different street performers. Furthermore, The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure is opening, and there is a new healthy snack stand, picnic benches, and so much more.
What is Cool Kids Summer? Cool Kid Summer at Walt Disney World, from May 27th to September 1st, 2025, is an exciting event packed with kid-centric fun across all four theme parks. Expect special character interactions, high-energy dance parties with DJs, and Disney friends like Stitch and Pluto. Plus, get great deals on rooms and tickets. Make incredible memories this summer as villains take center stage, a brand-new parade lights up the night, and so much more!

Get Animated – Get ready for lots of fun at Animation Courtyard! Kids can play games and make crafts all day. You might see magicians, jump rope tricks, and even surprise visits from your favorite characters! The fun doesn’t stop there! The new dance party inside the Disney Junior Dance and Play building is called “Get Animated”. A DJ will be spinning tunes throughout the day with Roadster Racers Mickey, Pluto, Doc McStuffins, Vampirina, Fancy Nancy, Timon, and we spotted Max Goof join the dance party while we were visiting today.

Animation Courtyard Entertainment has clowns, magicians, jump rope artists, singers, and more. Performers switch out constantly, and there is always a Disney Character getting involved in the act. While we were visiting, Goofy joined the Jumping Beans double-dutch jump rope artists, plus he was part of the Cool Cones Magicians act. Donald Duck joined in with the clowns.
Speaking of Disney Characters, besides the characters wandering around the Animation Courtyard in Hollywood Studios, there are plenty of characters to line up for traditional meet and greets. Character Meet and Greets start at 9:15 AM, and the last times of the day were listed as 4:20 PM.

Finally, Clarabelle Cow and the Disney Junior “Let’s Play” coloring tables:
Clarabelle Cow is a special meet and greet, especially for kids. She will wander over towards the entrance to Animation Courtyard, close to the Brown Derby, where Disney Junior has tables, picnic tables, and smaller tables set up for the kids. Each table has fans that can be colored in with the crayons that are supplied. Clarabelle Cow will come and sit with the kids and color, or try and hold a conversation with them.
