While Tokyo Disneyland guests have had a fascination with the Park Trash Cans and have merchandise made exclusively for them, locally here at Walt Disney World, we have been left out of these collectibles. Forget vying for the latest limited-edition popcorn bucket; a new collectible is emerging on Main Street U.S.A., here at Walt Disney World, and it might just surprise you: Disney trash cans are the latest adorable candy holders.

One thing we know for sure about Walt Disney World guests is their passion for collecting popcorn buckets, sippers, and novelties. We have consistently written about the newest releases, and when a new bucket drops, we are right there with the news. Which means, seeing a brand new container that holds candy reminds us of the popcorn bucket craze down here at WDW. These new Main Street USA Trash Can candy holders are going to be in demand.
The new trash can candy holders will hold 1/2lb of candy like M&M’s, or whichever sweet treat you wish to purchase at the time. On Sale Date says Later this May.
How Can I Buy the Trash-Can-Inspired Containers? It’s as simple as finding a trash can in Walt Disney World Resort!
- Visit one of the six merchandise locations and pick your favorites from the bulk candy wall using a bag provided. Note that you will need to grab at least ½ lb. of candy to be able to purchase the container.
- Don’t place the sweets in the can just yet! You will need to check out first. Keep in mind that there’s a limit of 2 containers per guest/transaction. Available while supplies last!
- After purchasing, you can throw the candy in the container and reuse it as a nostalgic collectible.
When Do the Bulk Candy Containers Launch? Go get that candy later this May. Please note that launch timing may vary by merchandise location.
Where Will Bulk Candy Containers Be Sold? The bin-credible containers will be available at Walt Disney World Resort.
