New Country Bear Coming to Frontierland! Romeo McGrowl Meet and Greet at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Disney Parks has just made a new reel starring the “Kiss the Girls” singer and guitar-playing Bear from Disney’s Country Bear Jamboree inside Walt Disney World’s Frontierland stage show Country Bear Jamboree! Romeo McGrowl will join Big Al, Wendell, and Shaker as roaming characters that guests can now meet and greet.
Romeo McGrowl: Speaking of starting a new chapter, one bear is ready to enter his next era of singing rockabilly. Of course, I’m referring to none other than the Miami Serenader himself, Romeo McGrowl.
From Disney Parks’ Instagram Account: “A little commotion for Romeo McGrowl, please! 💋🎶🌹 #DisneyWorld #CountryBears #DisneyCharacters“. This is being done with Disney Live Entertainment, which is about to start Cool Kids Summer 2025 at Walt Disney World with more character meet and greets, a new Stitch dance party in Tomorrowland, and a new Pluto gathering in Storybook Circus. See Video Below:
The other Country Bear characters, who wander around Disney’s Frontierland, are Big Al, Wendell, and Shaker. They had gone through costume changes at the Magic Kingdom when the new show reopened as Country Bear Musical Jamboree last July 17th, 2024. We will be in the Magic Kingdom tomorrow to see Romeo McGrowl ourselves if and when he comes out to his admiring fans.
