
ORLANDO, FL – Get ready for a summer packed with new and exciting experiences across Walt Disney World, all geared towards making it a “Cool Kid Summer.” From goofy dance parties to animated adventures and special savings, here’s a breakdown of what families can expect.
EPCOT:
- GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall: Starting May 27, CommuniCore Hall will transform into Goofy’s ultimate playground. Expect DJ-led dance parties and games with a goofy twist, like Loopy Limbo. Note: CommuniCore Hall will temporarily close for this transformation beginning May 12 and will reopen May 27, but CommuniCore Plaza and Mickey & Friends will remain open. Keep an eye out for potential Farmer’s Feast food options at Florida Fresh during the Flower & Garden Festival.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom:
- Adventure with New Activities at Rafiki’s Planet Watch: Engage in hands-on crafting activities focused on pollinators.
- New Wilderness Explorer Badge: Earn a special, limited-time Wilderness Explorer badge while exploring the park and spotting animals like tigers and okapi.
- Celebration Sing-Along at Discovery Island: Join an interactive sing-along with a Dino Institute Intern, celebrating the park’s amazing animals with original songs and storytelling.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios:
- Get Animated at Animation Courtyard: Enjoy energetic games and crafts, along with magicians, jump rope performers, and surprise character appearances. A lively indoor DJ dance party with Mickey Mouse and Disney Junior friends will also be featured.
- Two New Indoor Stage Shows (Debuting May 27):
- “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After“: A wickedly fun show featuring Disney’s most infamous villains.
- “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure“: A retelling of the classic animated film with beloved songs and stunning visuals.
Magic Kingdom Park:
- Big Top Bash at Storybook Circus: Join a summertime dance party with a DJ ringmaster and Pluto, complete with stilt walkers and jugglers.
- Galactic Blast at Tomorrowland: Dance with Stitch at a high-energy DJ party at the Rocket Tower Plaza Stage. Inside Merchant of Venus, find an out-of-this-world craft inspired by the upcoming Disney-Pixar film “Elio.”
- “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” (Later This Summer): A new nighttime show featuring characters from “Encanto,” “Frozen,” “Coco,” and more. Stay tuned for details.
