Tom Vazzana, Executive Creative Director for Disney Live Entertainment, and the cast members who had a role in the creation process should be very proud of their Jollywood Nights creation called “What’s This?” Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing‑Along. The show has been awarded the 2025 Brass Ring Excellence Award for Most Creative Winter Holiday Production.
“What’s This?” Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing‑Along: Join Jack Skellington on a dreamlike adventure inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. Sing along with the Pumpkin King to beloved songs from the film as you follow 2 friends on a larger-than-life journey. You’ll discover the peculiar magic of wonder in unlikely places, conquer the Oogie Boogie man himself, and stay curious when things are not quite as they seem. This show is only presented during Disney Jollywood Nights.
The IAAPA Brass Ring Awards, a cornerstone of the event, recognized outstanding achievements in marketing, live entertainment, sustainability, and operations. Winners included standout organizations from around the world including Puy du Fou Asia, Africam Safari in Latin America, and PortAventura World in Europe, among many others.
A major highlight of the final evening IAAPA Honors Gala was the presentation of the prestigious Liseberg Applause Award, presented by Liseberg CEO Andreas Andersen. This year’s recipient, Universal Studios Japan, set a new standard in immersive experiences and operational excellence and was celebrated for its achievement.
The program also included the recognition of individuals who received the previously announced regional IAAPA Inspiration, Service and Young Professional of the Year Awards.
