Marvel Studios Thunderbolts* Takes Over AMC at Disney Springs. On May 2nd, 2025, fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will return to movie theaters to experience Thunderbolts*. The Disney Springs AMC24 is ready for the blockbuster summer Marvel Release. AMC has already announced the Thunderbolts Popcorn buckets, and that tickets are available now. D23 just released tickets this afternoon to Gold Members.
The AMC24 at Disney Springs now has a step and repeat photo op, along with large banners with the cast of Thunderbolts* hanging all over the facade of the building. Including a yellow ‘red’ carpet leading into the entrance leading into the AMC theater. The yellow carpet is surrounded by banners with alternating characters and “Bolt” sayings. “This is a Thunderbolt*, this is a wheel bolt. This is a Thunderbolt*, this is a bolt.”
In “Thunderbolts*,” Marvel Studios assembles an unconventional team of antiheroes — Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster, and John Walker. After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, these disillusioned castoffs must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts. Will this dysfunctional group tear itself apart, or find redemption and unite as something much more before it’s too late?
Returning to their Marvel Cinematic Universe roles are Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Hannah John-Kamen and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. The cast also includes newcomers to the MCU—Lewis Pullman, Geraldine Viswanathan, Chris Bauer, and Wendell Edward Pierce.
