D23 & Mickey’s Not-So-Scary? Here’s What Disney Just Teased! Could a special, exclusive night at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party be on the horizon? Tickets are going on sale today, April 14th, for Destination D23: A Journey Around the Worlds of Disney – Presented by Lug, happening at Coronado Springs from August 29th to 31st. And while the weekend is packed with awesome events like Parks panels and exclusive shopping, it’s a subtle wording change that has Halloween fans buzzing.
The Destination D23 website now teases a “spooktacular event happening the evening of August 29th! It’s sure to be a wicked good time!” Why is this a big deal? Disney World exclusively uses the word “Spooktacular” for their beloved “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular” fireworks show, the highlight of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Given that August 29th, 2025, falls on a Friday – a typical party night – and D23 has previously hosted special nights at Disneyland’s Oogie Boogie Bash, the pieces seem to be falling into place for a similar experience at Walt Disney World.
Keep in mind, this potential Halloween party night might be a separate, extra-ticketed event, with more details likely to emerge after May 1st, the unofficial “Halfway to Halloween,” when Disney Parks typically unleashes a cauldron of spooky announcements. Could this be the ultimate Halloween treat for D23 fans? We’ll be keeping our ears peeled!”
