Bring Spike the Bee Home: Garden Stake from Epcot’s Pollen-Nation Hunt! The opening day of Epcot’s Flower & Garden 2025 may have started a little wet, but that did not stop the crowds from waiting in line at Creation Shop, searching for the new hot item being sold. Orange Bird, Alice in Wonderland, and our favorite Epcot bee friend, Spike, collections.

While guests were trying to get their hands on the new Lug Bags, trash can salt & pepper shakers, ears, Spirit Jerseys, and of course new pins and annual passholder merch, we went for one thing: the Spike the Bee Garden Stake! The mascot of sorts for Flower & Garden is found around Epcot in various gardens, pollenating flowers.

If you have ever been to Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival in past years, one of the best parts is going on a scavenger hunt with Spike the Bee called Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration. We have a full guide in the link. Now you can bring Spike home with you, in a replica of the Garden Stake found during the festival. We found ours at Creation Shop for $39.99 before tax and discounts. With the Annual Passholder Discount, it is $34.07 after taxes.

Spike is full-sized, with his colors matching the ones seen in the gardens at Epcot. He has his light blue wings and comes with a heavy-duty stand that will stand up to almost any wind conditions. This feels like it will last many years sitting out in the weather.

Find magic in bloom at an event full of flowers, flavor, and fun—March 5 to June 2, 2025!

Spike the Bee has appeared alongside Mickey Mouse in different animated shows, most recently in the 2017 show Mickey Mouse, which can be seen on Disney+. Spike also starred with Goofy and other Disney Characters. However, Spike’s most known role is at Epcot, where he has appeared on various merchandise over the years, including sipper forms and snacks. Even though Donald Duck would disagree and say Spike is most famous for starring opposite of himself in many cartoons in the 1950s!

Spike the Bee is busy pollinating the gardens around the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. As you explore the Festival, look for Spike as he pollinates plants while gathering pollen and nectar. Once you find him in each garden on your map, add the corresponding sticker of the plant he is visiting to your map. Whether you choose to search for Spike or not, redeem your map by June 2, 2025, for a special surprise, while supplies last.
