The “I’m going to Disney World!” The Super Bowl parade is a beloved tradition that began in 1987 with Giants quarterback Phil Simms. Conceived by Disney CEO Michael Eisner, the campaign features the Super Bowl MVP proclaiming their intention to visit Disney World (or Disneyland, depending on location) immediately after the game.

This simple phrase kicks off a celebratory parade complete with marching bands, cheerleaders, Disney characters, and the MVP themselves. Over the years, the campaign has become one of the most successful and recognizable in advertising history, solidifying Disney’s association with celebration and adding a touch of magic to the Super Bowl victory. The parade itself is a spectacle enjoyed by fans of all ages, making it a cherished part of the Super Bowl experience.
