Video: ‘Magic Kingdom Rainy Day Cavalcade’ during the Wet and Cold Week of Florida Winter 2025. Even the most persistent Florida sunshine can’t always hold back the clouds, and when rain showers dampen the Magic Kingdom, a special surprise awaits guests: the Magic Kingdom Rainy Day Cavalcade, where Cast Members are dressed in bright red and yellow rain slicks. Characters can be caught splashing around, while others are kept under cover in the Disney Transportation Omnibus or Old-time cars.
The lyrics: “Trickle, trickle, splash, splash, tell me how long will this rain last? The rain keeps dropping, the rain don’t stop, tell me how long will this rain last?“ will be in your head for the rest of the day!
Leading the cavalcade were Woody, Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, followed by Bruno from Encanto riding in a horseless vehicle. Stitch, Genie, and Max Goof led the Omnibus, which was filled with Princesses. Elana of Avalor, Pocahontas, and Raya sat on one side, while Moana, Merida, and Mulan graced the other side. Bert and Mary Poppins also joined the royal festivities aboard the Omnibus.
Yesterday, at 10:30 AM instead of the Disney Adventure Freinds Cavalcade, because it was raining, and the ground was soaked, the Magic Kingdom Rainy Day Cavalcade made its way from Frontierland to the Castle Hub, and continued down Main Street USA. While it is hard to predict the characters you will see, most times it will be the same ones you would have seen during the normal cavalcade. But, we have seen many versions of this parade and that is what makes it special. Video Below:
Winter in Florida lasts about one week every January; this year, it may only last 3 or 4 days with temperatures going to the lows of mid-30s, and highs in the high 40s low 50s. Here is where all those going through a huge winter storm with inches of snow and single-digit temps falling will roll their eyes. But please, do not feel bad for us, it will return to the mid-70s next week, so we are safe! 2025 winter means a few days of rain and cold temps and when that happens Disney pulls out the Magic Kingdom Rainy Day Cavalcade.
We stood in our rain gear in front of Cinderella Castle and got some fun images of the characters.
In the past, we have spotted a ton of different characters. Mickey & Minnie normally lead the cavalcade. Chip & Dale, Pluto, Goofy, Donald & Daisy Duck, plus we have witnessed a time when all the major Disney Princesses were part of the Magic Kingdom Rainy Day Cavalcade. Our favorite spot during the rain is up top of Main Street Railroad Station. Great spot for taking images, and not getting soaked.
Besides the cavalcade, there is a special Rainy Day Magic Shot from Disney PhotoPass. Just ask the Photopass Cast Member for the rainy day photo and the image will be with Mickey Mouse in his rain poncho and holding an umbrella splashing through a puddle, just like you!
