New ‘Princess and the Frog’ Ray Magnet for Passholders at Epcot. What a wet and cold morning to be at the Parks, but that did not dampen our spirits or our will to pick up the new Ray Magnet. Ray is a loveable Cajun firefly from Disney’s “The Princess and the Frog.” He’s known for his romantic spirit and his unwavering pursuit of Evangeline, the evening star. Despite his old age and worn-out wings, Ray remains optimistic and full of life.
Today, Disney World Annual PAssholders can head to the Creation Shop in Epcot and pick up the brand new Magnet. Previously teased by the WDW Annual Passholders Social Media, then on the Passholders Buzz:
The first rule of the bayou: Never take directions from a gator. Second rule: Come grab this Ray-markable magnet. This shining magnet takes inspiration from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Speaking of which, we want to let you in on a little-known fact…if you look closely up at the water tower on the attraction, you’ll see two stars.
One represents Evangeline and the other represents, you guessed it, our lovable firefly pal Ray. All in all, this is a magnet you’re gonna want to add to your collection. You can grab the Ray Passholder magnet at the Creations Shop inside EPCOT from January 21 through February 28, 2025, during normal Park operation hours.
One of the major perks is being able to head to Epcot or Disney’s Animal Kingdom to pick up new AP Magnets when they are released. In the past few months, Disney AP holders have been able to get a Postcard from Mufasa: The Lion King, Holiday Recipe Card, and the most recent AP Magnet releases of Timon & Pumba in August, Stitch from Lilo & Stitch was released in May of 2024 as part of WDW V.I.Passholder Days, and Hei Hei the Chicken from Disney’s Moana released in January of 2024.
Creations Shop features a bold, sleek design that creates a perfect showcase for the rich variety of items you’ll find as part of your EPCOT experience. It’s an open, bright, and welcoming environment with huge glass walls that allow sunlight to pour in—connecting you with the natural beauty outside. In its design, Disney Imagineers used color, materials, and light in new ways, with some unique EPCOT touches that connect back to the park’s storied past while looking to the future.
As you can see there were no lines. It is like the past few releases, you must be in the Parks to pick up the magnet and have your account and ID ready when picking them up. 1 per account. We do not know if they will be mailed.
