All Guests Can Book Lightning Lane Premier Pass Starting January 21st 2025. Walt Disney World has updated the sales of Lightning Lane Premier Pass to now include all ticketed guests starting Jan 21st, 2025. This is an update from only hotel guests being able to book the pass. Guests will still have a small advantage by staying at a Walt Disney World Resort.
Lightning Lane Premier Pass has shown to be a great value to guests visiting the Parks who want to maximize their time. We have recently seen many parks sold out, especially during the busy times like the Holidays. We are heading into a slower season which could be the reason for the expansion of the LLPP to all guests. Of course, when we say slower season, we do not mean empty Parks, just not as busy.
Lightning Lane Premier Pass allows one-time entry to each Lightning Lane experience in a theme park—to enjoy at your leisure that day.

Updates for Lightning Lane Premier Pass – Beginning January 21, Walt Disney World Resort will expand the Lightning Lane Premier Pass pilot to all Guests. Guests of Disney Resort hotels and other select hotels will be eligible to purchase up to 7 days before the first day of their Resort stay—and other Guests will be eligible to purchase up to 3 days in advance of their park visit.
For Walt Disney World Resort Guests Only –
Eligible Guests can purchase Lightning Lane Premier Passes up to 7 days before the first day of their Resort stay—for their entire length of stay (up to 14 days)—starting at 7:00 AM Eastern Time.

Valid Park Admission Required
Before you can purchase a Lightning Lane Premier Pass, you must have valid theme park admission. Park reservations may also be required, depending on the type of admission and the date of your visit. Please see theme park reservation requirements.
