Follow Mickey Mouse Deliver Toys and Happiness During “The Ultimate Toy Drive” Starting December 10th. NORAD started tracking Santa in 1955 when a child accidentally called the Continental Air Defense Command’s operations center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, instead of a Santa hotline. Santa Tracker has since evolved with the times and can now be tracked online all day Christmas Eve.
Now, Mickey Mouse & Disney, along with the United States Marines are helping Santa bring joy to kids in a new and unique way, and you can now follow Mickey Mouse on his journey from Times Square to Walt Disney World starting December 10th, 2024. Mickey Mouse has accepted a heartwarming mission to spread magic to needy kids this holiday season. Delivering toys and spreading joy to kids in need.
Disney is helping bring toys — and joy — to kids in need, and this year, in addition to toys collected from so many families and fans, Disney has donated more than 100,000 toys to Toys for Tots! Each year, Disney Store supports the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive through charitable giving, volunteering, and collecting toy donations from fans and guests across the country. By engaging Disney employees, cast members, and our communities, the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive creates moments of happiness and connects people.
Here’s the plan: Mickey will head to Disney Store Times Square to pick up new, wrapped toys donated as part of the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive. From there, he’ll help deliver them to Walt Disney World to be shared with kids in need, spreading the happiness and wonder of the season.
But before he sets off, our favorite mouse has a few final things to check off his to-do list. He’s already checked in with Santa and asked Goofy to watch Pluto while he’s away. Now, he has to pack for the journey! Don’t worry – he’s promised Minnie Mouse he’ll be back just in time for the holiday festivities. It should be a quick trip, right?
