‘The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular’ Airs Tonight on ABC. If you were one of the lucky few who happened to be at Disney World on November 11th, 2024, you got to see Rock n’ Roll Hall of Famer Elton John give a spectacular performance that was being filmed for the upcoming The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular. Elton performed a few extra songs, waved at fans, and looked like he was the legend he is! If you missed out, here is the chance to see the spectacular that was filmed at Walt Disney World, along with at other Disney Parks and Resorts around the country.
Tonight on ABC networks The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular airs at 8:00 PM EST, and will be available tomorrow on Disney+.
Update: The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular 2024 is now available on Disney+ to watch. The show was one of the best we have seen in years, but we won’t review it yet to give you time to watch it yourselves. We will mention that Disney Parks and Disney Live Entertainment made a few Park announcements during the broadcast. Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After will be the name of the new stage show coming to Hollywood Studios, and Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away is the name of the new nighttime parade at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Both are set to open this summer of 2025.
Hosted by Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro, ”The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular” returns for its ninth year with a sparkling spectacle of new musical performances from Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Disneyland Resort in California, and Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Ko’Olina, Hawaiʻi. Narrated by Kristen Bell, who will share the tale of how the Disney Parks kicks off the most magical holiday ever, “The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular” airs SUNDAY, DEC. 1, at 8:01 p.m. EST/PST on ABC and is available the next day on Hulu and Disney+. “The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular” is produced by Disney executive and senior executive producer Sally Hopkins Conner for Disney Yellow Shoes Studio, who brought on production company EverWonder Studio, and executive producers Michael Antinoro and Ashley Edens as well as Film 45.

This year’s show kicks off the holiday season in primetime on Dec. 1 with performances by iconic singers, including Elton John and John Legend. And I promise, this year’s “The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular” delivers an entire season’s worth of holiday cheer with a sleigh full of surprises. You’ve probably never seen a holiday celebration quite like it!
Kristen Bell narrates the show this year, telling the story of how Disney “makes ‘The Happiest Place on Earth’ even happier,” and “’The Most Magical Place on Earth’ even more magical.” The story sets the stage for hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro, who guide viewers on a starlit journey through Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Disneyland Resort in California, and Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa in Hawaii.
