Disney Reveals 8-Foot Tall Spaceship Earth Gingerbread Display during Festival of the Holidays, and you can eat it too. Well, kind of. You can purchase a Salted Caramel Spaceship Earth Cookie that is for sale right next to the display at the Experimental Prototype Cookies of Tomorrow.
CommuniCore Hall in Epcot received its holiday makeover this morning, with the addition of a “forest of glittering Christmas trees” called Glittering Grove, and the centerpiece of the newly opened festival space is the 8-foot tall display of Epcot’s icon Spaceship Earth. The gingerbread spaceship Earth features LED lights that twinkle and glow like its counterpart at the entrance to Epcot. Music plays and the lights change color in a Grand and Miraculous Display. The show is on a timer, and there are countdown clocks located around the base of the structure.
The Spaceship Earth Gingerbread display joins the Grand Floridian, Beach Club Carousel, Boardwalk, The Contemporary, and Wilderness Lodge during the Disney Holidays 2024. Celebrate holidays around the world! Get wrapped up in the festive sights, sounds, and flavors of the season at EPCOT—November 29 to December 30, 2024.

A Grand and Miraculous Gingerbread Display
The creative minds of the EPCOT Festival Team and Walt Disney Imagineering paired up with the delicious skills of the EPCOT Pastry team to create something truly grand and miraculous – an 8-foot-tall gingerbread display inspired by Spaceship Earth. The geodesic sphere made up of hundreds of handcrafted gingerbread triangles will be on display inside CommuniCore Hall for all guests to see and enjoy throughout the festival. And, just like its park icon counterpart, the gingerbread version will also light up and dance to music periodically throughout the day. You can discover the next dancing lights performance of this tasty creation with a countdown, courtesy of the Celebration Countdown presented by CITIZEN!
